Happy Valentine's Day! Our gift to you on this day is a new demo for our lube-em-up sidescroller, NOODS! This demo has content previously exclusive to Patreon ($10 patrons get early access to public builds, as well as exclusive builds and content, such as the ability to play as Commando Pink in our other game, FLICK CLUB).

But enough about holidays and Patreon, this post is about what's been added in v0.1.2, and it's a lot. Probably could've bumped it up to v0.2.0 proper, but I made my choice.

• New background art
• New portrait art (this demo just about doubles her poses/faces)
• An extended version of the opening Earth City map, with 10 MegaCorp hostages hidden throughout
• A special speedrun map, focused more on movement than combat

On the title screen, your best time will be recorded for not only the demo map and speedrun map, but also for 100%ing the demo map. How fast can you find all the hostages? Heads up, some of them are pretty well hidden.

One last thing - a more robust menu is high on the priorities list for our next build, and with that will come customizable keyboard controls, but in the meantime, I have added an alternate keyboard control scheme using WASD and IJKL + semicolon. It's what I use when testing the keyboard controls, and hopefully you'll enjoy it too (although as the opening suggests, a controller is the preferred way to play).
